Fred Willard is an American actor, comedian, and writer, best known for his mockumentary films ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ (1984), ‘Waiting for Guffman’ (1996), and ‘Best in Show’ (2000). He received three ‘Emmy Award’ nominations for his roles in the TV shows ‘What's Hot, What's Not’ (1985-198), ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ (2003-2005), and ‘Modern Family’ (2009-2018). He made his film debut in the 1967 film ‘Teenage Mother. He played ‘Tom Osbourne’ in the ‘Academy Award’-winning short film ‘Ray's Male Heterosexual Dance Hall’ (1987). His other popular films include ‘Best in Show’ (2000), ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy’ (2004), ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ (2013), and ‘Fifty Shades of Black’ (2016). He had his TV breakthrough as ‘Jerry Hubbard’ in the shows ‘Fernwood 2 Night’ (1977) and ‘America 2-Night’ (1978). His other shows include ‘D.C. Follies’ (1987-1988), ‘Family Matters’ (1994-1996), ‘Roseanne’ (1995-97), ‘Maybe It's Me’ (2001-2002), ‘Back to You’ (2007-2008), and ‘New Girl’ (2017).
