Timothy Busfield is an American Actor and director, best known for playing the role of Elliot Weston in the television drama series ‘Thirtysomething’ (1987 – 1991) for which he received a ‘Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.’ He has received positive reviews as a director for the series ‘Lizzie McGuire’ (2001), ‘Joan of Arcadia’ (2004), and ‘White Collar’ (2009). His work as the director in the series ‘The Deep End’ (2010) and producer-director in ‘Rosewood’ (2015) failed to make the same impact.Â
His highest rated performances on the big screen have been in the movies ‘Field of Dreams’ (1989), ‘Quiz Show’ (1994), and ‘A League of Ordinary Gentlemen’ (2005).
