David Schwimmer was first seen in the 1989 television film ‘A Deadly Silence’ where he played the role of ‘Rob Cuccio.’ In 1991, he made his silver screen debut in the 1991 John Milius-war film ‘Flight of the Intruder.’ The film opened to a negative critical reception and received a 25% approval score on Rotten Tomatoes. He continued to star in films like ‘Crossing the Bridge’ (1992), ‘Twenty Bucks’ (1993), and ‘Wolf’ (1994). In 1994, he joined the main cast of the American television sitcom ‘Friends’ created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. He played the role of ‘Ross Geller’ which earned him a ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ nomination. The series ran for 10 seasons and aired its final episode in 2004. He also appeared in television series and films like ‘The Single Guy’ (1995), ‘Saturday Night Live’ (1995), ‘ER’ (1996), and ‘Breast Men’ (1997). In 1998, he played the role of ‘Max Abbitt’ in the American romantic comedy film ‘Kissing a Fool’ directed by Doug Ellin. The film was panned by critics and received a 29% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Schwimmer continued to appear in films like ‘All the Rage’ (1999), ‘Love & Sex’ (2000), ‘Picking Up the Pieces’ (2000), ‘Hotel’ (2001), ‘Uprising’ (2001), ‘Duane Hopwood’ (2005), ‘Madagascar’ (2005), ‘Big Nothing’ (2006), ‘Run, Fatboy, Run’ (2007), ‘Nothing But the Truth’ (2008), ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’ (2008), ‘John Carter’ (2012), ‘The Iceman’ (2012), ‘Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted’ (2012), and ‘The Laundromat’ (2019). In 2020, he became a part of the British television sitcom ‘Intelligence’ where he grabbed the role of ‘Jerry Bernstein.’ The second season of the show premiered in June 2021. He was last seen in the 2021 reunion special of the American television sitcom ‘Friends.’ He will be next seen in the upcoming American anthology drama series ‘Extrapolations.’
