Stand-up comedian and actor Dana Thomas Carvey is best known to be the cast member of the famed television show ‘Saturday Night Live’ and for his memorable role in the ‘Wayne’s World’ films. The actor was a household name in the late 80’s with his impeccable performances at the ‘Saturday Night Live’ show where he had made noteworthy impressions of many politicians including the Ex-President George W.Bush.
Carvey debuted in films with ‘Halloween II’ and the 1984 ‘This Is Spinal Tap’. Following these films, Carvey played Garth Algar in the ‘Wayne’s World’ films which are his finest performances and also did extremely well at the box offices.  Keeping himself occupied, the actor also starred in films like ‘Clean Slate’ (1994), ‘The Road to Wellville’ (1994), and ‘Trapped in Paradise’ (1994). After leaving the ‘Saturday Night Live’ show in 1993 he returned to TV with The Dana Carvey Show ’which unfortunately failed and hardly lasted two months. The Emmy award winning actor has had a brilliant and bumpy career but a few wrong choices like the 2002 film ‘Master of Disguise’ left a scar on his career.
