William Thomas Hader Jr. first appeared on ‘Saturday Night Live’ (2005) showcasing various impersonations, and earned nominations during 2005-2013.
Hader co-created and starred as the popular flashy character ‘Stefon’ on SNL’s ‘Weekend Update.’ He made his film debut in ‘You, Me, & Dupree’ (2006), and played supporting roles in 2007’s ‘Knocked Up,’ ‘Hot Rod,’ and ‘Superbad.’
In 2008, Hader turned producer and creative consultant for animated series ‘South Park’ which won awards. He was co-writer and star of web-series ‘The Line’ (2008), and made several short films including ‘Back in the Day.’ Also in 2008, he was part of ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall,’ ‘Pineapple Express,’ and ‘Tropic Thunder.’
Hader was host of ‘Essentials Jr.’ (2011-2014) on Turner Classic Films, and starred in comedy-drama ‘The Skeleton Twins’ (2014). He is actor-writer for mockumentary series ‘Documentary Now!’ (2015-present). His first film as leading man was ‘Trainwreck’ (2015), followed by ‘Maggie’s Plan.’
Hader co-created and starred in series ‘Barry’ (2018) earning multiple nominations and awards. His performance in supernatural film ‘It: Chapter Two’ (2019) got him acclaim.
Hader was voice-actor for innumerable acclaimed animated films/series including ‘Inside Out’ (2015), ‘Toy Story-4’ (2019) and more.
