Josh Brolin is an extremely talented actor who took forward the legacy of his father and showed his brilliance in front of camera. Interested in cinema early on, Brolin soon worked hard to turn his passion into his profession.Â
A couple of guest roles in films and television led Brolin to bag his first major role in Richard Donner’s film ‘The Goonies’ in 1985. His powerful portrayal of the character of Brand Walsh was critically acclaimed. Since then, he has appeared in a wide number of films, such as ‘Hollow Man’, ‘In the Valley of Elah’, ‘American Gangster’, ‘True Grit’, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ and ‘Inherent Vice’. His best role came for ‘No Country for Old Men’ as Llewelyn Moss, young Agent K in ‘Men in Black 3’, George W. Bush in ‘W’ and Dan White in ‘Milk’.Â
Interestingly, for most parts of the late 2000s and early 2010s, Brolin’s filmography had him in villainous roles. His voice role of Thanos within the Marvel Cinematic Universe was seen in films like ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. Brolin however has had his taste of failures as well; ‘Thrashin’, ‘Into the Blue’ and ‘Mimic’ being some of Brolin’s unsuccessful films.Â
