Donald Glover is a writer, director, producer, rapper, stand-up and an actor. Initially starting off as a writer for ’30 Rock’, it was his stint in front of camera that made him a household name.Â
Glover first came to limelight with the NBC comedy series ‘Community’ as Troy Barnes in 2009. Consequently, a plethora of guest roles in both films and television followed as he picked up one role after the other. Some of his best roles done in television came for series such as ‘Girls’, ‘Adventure Time’ and ‘Ultimate Spiderman’. ‘Atlanta’ which has commenced in 2016 has been rated as Glover’s best performance as of date. In films, Glover has had a mixed bag of luck. While some of his films were top-grossing ones such as ‘The Martian’ and ‘Spiderman Homecoming’, there were others like ‘The Lazarus Effect’ that bombed at the box office.Â
Films like ‘The To Do List’, ‘Magic Mike XXL’, ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’ may not have gained critical acclamation but did well at the box office, adding to Glover’s list of successful films in his filmography.Â
