Mark Consuelos made his screen debut as ‘Mateo Santos’ in the American television soap opera ‘All My Children’ created by Agnes Nixon. He won 3 ‘Soap Opera Digest Awards’ and an ALMA Award’ for his performance as ‘Mateo Santos’ and remained a part of the show until 2010. He also appeared in television shows like ‘Road Rules’ (1997), ‘Connect With English’ (1997), ‘Third Watch’ (2001), ‘Friends’ (2001), and ‘American Family’ (2002). He went on to make his big-screen debut in the 2002 comedy-drama film ‘The Last Place on Earth’ directed by James Slocum. In 2004, he joined the main cast of the Canadian crime drama television series ‘Missing’ created by Glenn Davis and William Laurin. He played the role of ‘FBI Agent Antonio Cortez’ and remained a part of the series until it went off-air in 2006. He continued to star in television series like ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ (2007), ‘Ugly Betty’ (2008), ‘The Protector’ (2011), ‘I Hate My Teenage Daughter’ (2012), ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ (2012-2013), ‘Alpha House’ (2013-2014), ‘Kingdom’ (2015), ‘Pitch’ (2016), ‘Queen of the South’ (2016), and ‘Difficult People’ (2016). In 2017, he grabbed the role of ‘Hiram Lodge’ in the American teen drama television series ‘Riverdale’ developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. He starred in 74 episodes and parted ways from the show in 2022. He also made a guest appearance in the American musical comedy-drama television series ‘Katy Keene’ in 2020 where he reprised his role as ‘Hiram Lodge.’
