Daisy Ridley is an English actress, voice artist, and producer. She has appeared in number of movies and TV series, and was also seen in lead role in the ‘Star Wars sequel trilogy’.
Ridley’s career began with minor roles in number of television programmes including ‘Youngers’, ‘Toast of London’, ‘Silent Witness’, ‘Mr Selfridge’ and ‘Casualty’. With time, she earned herself role in versatile movies including ‘Blue Season’, ‘Scrawl’ (2015), ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ (2014), ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ (2017), and ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ (2017). Along with acting, Ridely has been a voice artist and has lent her voice in many movies. She gave her voice for the lead role of Taeko in the English dub of Japanese film ‘Only Yesterday’ (1991) which was released in New York City in 2016. Also, her voice was featured in ‘Star War Forces of Destiny’ (2017), and two episodes of ‘Sands of Jakku’ and ‘BB-8’s Bandits’ which were released on YouTube.
Ridely has been associated with some super hit films that helped her garner success. ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ (2015) and ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ have not only been the best films, but also the highest grossing movies of her career.
