Tyler James Williams is an American actor, best known for his Chris Rock-inspired role in ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ (2005-09). He made his debut on the children’s show ‘Sesame Street’ (2000-05). He was next seen in another children’s series ‘Little Bill’ (2002-02) as ‘Bobby.’ He appeared in ‘SNL’ (2003) and ‘Law & Order’ (2005) before he starred in ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ (2005). In 2012, he was a series regular in sitcom ‘Go On.’ He had a recurring role in the popular horror series ‘The Walking Dead,’ in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2016, he played the main role of ‘Russ Montgomery’ in ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.’ In 2018, he had a recurring role in drama-comedy ‘Dear White People’ (2018). In 2019, he is playing ‘Edgar Standfish’ in ‘Whiskey Cavalier. ‘He has appeared in films such as ‘Unaccompanied Minors’ (2006), ‘Dear White People’ (2014), and ‘Detroit’ (2017).
