American Actress and entrepreneur Priscilla Presley, former wife of singer Elvis Presley, made her acting debut in the television film, ‘Love is Forever’ (1983). She won the ‘Soap Opera Digest Award for New Actress in a Prime Time Soap Opera’ for her role as ‘Janna Wade’ in the serial ‘Dallas’ (1983 – 1988). She is best known for her role as ‘Jane Spencer’ in three films from the series, ‘The Naked Gun,’ between 1988 and 1994. Her other appearances include ‘The Fall Guy’ (1983), ‘Tales from the Crypt’ (1993), ‘Spin City’ (1999), and ‘Family Guy’ (2017).
Priscilla was spotted by Hollywood producer Hal B. Wallis, but Elvis did not approve of her acting career due to which she had to give up the offer to act in his movie. She made her first appearance on television as a co-host of the show ‘Those Amazing Animals’ in 1980.
Priscilla Presley is the co-founder and former chairperson of Elvis Presley Enterprises that licenses all Elvis related ventures. She has also actively been involved in the Dream Foundation that looks after terminally ill adults. Even today, Priscilla has a huge fan following.
