Vanna White is a well known American Television personality, mostly because she hosted the popular American game show ‘Wheel of Fortune’ (since 1982). Her first appearance happened in another game show called ‘The Price is Right’ in 1980. Even though, she couldn’t make it to the stage, her part of the clip ran throughout the show’s 25th Anniversary episode. Eventually, she became a regular host on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ on December 13th, 1982.
Vanna is also an actress, though her acting career couldn't turn out to be as fulfilling as her television career. She made her movie debut in the movie ‘Gypsy Angels’ (1980). Her successful movies are ‘Looker’ (1981), ‘Midnight Offerings’ (1981), ‘Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult’ (1994) etc. Her worst movies are ‘Graduation Day’ (1981), ‘Goddess of Love’ (1988), ‘Double Dragon’ (1994) etc.
She has made appearances in TV shows like ‘L. A. Drama’ (1986-94), ‘Married with Children’ (1986-97), ‘The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!’ (1989), ‘Simon & Simon’ (1981-89), ‘The King of Queens’ (1998-2007), ‘Full House’ (1989- 1995), ‘WrestleMania IV’ etc.
She had a voice role animated series ‘Captain Planet and the Planeteers’ (1990-92). She was honoured with Hollywood’s ‘Walk of Fame’ in 2006.
