Ann-Margret Olsson made her debut in ‘Pocketful of Miracles’ (1961), followed by ‘State Fair’ (1962). ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ (1963) and ‘Viva Las Vegas’ (1964) fetched her popularity. Next, Ann-Margret starred in ‘Once a Thief’ and ‘The Cincinnati Kid’ in 1965, and ‘The Swingers,’ ‘Made in Paris,’ and ‘Murderer’s Row’ in1966.
Ann-Margret featured in two ‘Ann-Margret TV-Specials’ followed by films ‘R.P.M.’ (1970), ‘C.C. and Company’ (1970), ‘The Train Robbers’ (1973). Films like ‘Carnal Knowledge’ (1971) and ‘Tommy’ (1975) earned acclaim.
Thereafter, Ann-Margret starred in ‘Joseph Andrews’ (1977), ‘Magic’ (1978), ‘Middle Age Crazy’(1980), followed by ‘I Ought to be in Pictures,’ ‘Lookin’ to Get Out,’ and ‘The Return of the Soldier,’ and then, ‘Twice in Lifetime’ (1985), and ’52 Pick-Up’ (1986).
Ann-Margret’s roles in TV-movies ‘Who Will Love My Children’ (1983) and ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ (1984), and the miniseries ‘The Two Mrs. Grenvilles’ (1987) won awards and nominations.
She starred in ‘Our Sons’ (1991), ‘Newsies’ (1992), ‘Grumpy Old Men’ (1993) and the sequel, ‘Grumpier Old Men’ (1995). Her TV-films ‘Queen’ (1993), ‘Life of the Party’ (1998), and a guest-appearance in ‘Law & Order: SVU’ (2010) brought in accolades. She played supporting roles in ‘Taxi’ (2004), ‘The Break-Up’ (2006), ‘Memory’ (2005) and more.
