This supernatural thriller film tells the story of a cook, living in a desert town in California, who has the ability to see the dead. When a stranger enters the town with predators that can feed on pain, the cook teams up with his girlfriend and the local sheriff to save the town. 

A difficult married life thrusts Charles Schine into an affair with Lucinda Harris, a stranger he meets on a train. While consummating their affair in a seedy hotel, they are violently attacked by an armed man named Philippe LaRoche. Out of secrecy, they don’t report it to the police but LaRoche then starts blackmailing and threatening Charles. 

When Val is released after serving 28 years in prison for killing the son of a crime boss, he finds his old friend and crime partner Doc waiting for him. The two friends spend the night in partying and while having their dinner, Doc confesses that he has been ordered to kill Val within 10 A.M. and if he does not do that he himself will be killed.  

When their best man passes away all of a sudden after their marriage ceremony, two newlyweds are forced to postpone their honeymoon, in order to return to the snowy Midwest to make funeral arrangements. They soon learn that their friend was not the person they thought he was.

After their individual experiences of love-life, three close friends, Jason, Mikey and Daniel, decide to just have fun and stay single without commitment. Slowly the three perceive that their girls are perfect for them, and try to hide their beautifully growing romantic relationships from the other two. Situation turns awkward as each gets serious about relationship, but continues to pretend being single.

A masked killer used to wreak havoc in a small town in the US sixty-five years ago. In the present day, when similar killings start occurring again, a girl named Jami decides to do research and work on catching the killer herself.
