Marion Ross is a former American actress. She is best known for playing ‘Marion Cunningham’ on the TV sitcom ‘Happy Days’ (1974 -1984). She earned two ‘Primetime Emmy’ nominations for the role. As a film actress, she is best known for playing ‘Rosie Dunlop’ in the comedy film ‘The Evening Star’ (1996) for which she earned a ‘Golden Globe’ nomination under ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category. Ross made her film debut in ‘Forever Female’ (1953). Some of her popular films are ‘Sabrina’ (1954), ‘Lust for Life’ (1956), ‘Some Came Running’ (1958), ‘Grand Theft Auto’ (1977), ‘Music Within’ (2007)), and ‘Angels on Tap’ (2018). She started working in TV in 1953, and made her debut on the series ‘Life with Father,’ as an ‘Irish Maid.’ Her other popular appearances came on TV shows, such as ‘The Lone Ranger’ (1958), ‘The Donna Reed Show’ (1959), ‘Mrs. G. Goes to College’ (1961 – 1962, 2018), and ‘That '70s Show ‘ (1998-1999).
