Marie Dionne Warwick, singer, TV-host, and former-UN Goodwill Ambassador, made her acting debut with lead role ‘Cassy’ in drama-film ‘Slaves’(1969). She performed for ‘The Love Machine’ (1971) soundtrack and also appeared in cameo.
Warwick featured in detective series ‘Switch’ (1976-1977), and ‘The Rockford Files’ (1977). Next, she was seen in the series ‘The Fall Guy’ (1986), followed by a role in thriller ‘Rent-a-cop’ (1987).
Warwick hosted several TV-shows including, ‘The Midnight Special’ (1973), ‘The Dionne Warwick Special’ (1974), ‘Music Country-USA’ (1975), ‘Solid Gold’ (1980s) and talk-show ‘Dionne!’ (1990-1991).
Warwick appeared in series ‘Detective Extralarge’ (1991), and performed a song in series ‘Out All Night’ (1992). She played ‘Dr. Russell’ in animated-series ‘Captain Planet and the Planeteers’ (1993), and ‘Mrs. Jackson’ in sitcom ‘The Wayans Bro.s’ (1996), followed by a cameo on ‘The Drew Carey Show’ (1997).
Warwick was a star-guest on ‘So Weird’ (1999), and featured in ‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ (1998), animated series ‘Johnny Bravo’ (1999), ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ (2000). She provided voice for ‘Happily Ever After: Fairytales for Every Child’ (1999), and appeared in drama-film ‘Let There Be Light’ (2017). In reality show ‘The Masked Singer’ (2020) she featured as ‘Mouse.’
