Troy Garity is an American actor, best known for playing ‘Isaac Rosenberg’ in the 2002 comedy film ‘Barbershop,’ and ‘Barry Winchell’ in the 2003 TV movie ‘Soldier’s Girl.’
He made his film debut in ‘Introduction to the Enemy’ in 1974. He was an infant at the time of his audition. He had his breakout role in the 2002 film ‘Barbershop.’ He reprised his role in the ‘Barbershop 2: Back in Business’ (2004) and ‘Barbershop: The Next Cut’ (2016). He earned a ‘Golden Globe’ nomination for ‘Soldier’s Girl.’
His other notable roles came in films, such as ‘Lake City’ (2008), ‘the Good Doctor’ (20110, ‘Gangster Squad’ (2013) and ‘the Brooklyn Banker’ (2016).
He also made several appearances in TV shows such as ‘Rude Awakening’ (2000), ‘House’ (2009), ‘The Playboy Club’ (2011), ‘Boss’ (2011) and ‘Shooter’ (2017). He currently plays ‘Jason’ in Dwayne Johnson starrer comedy drama ‘Ballers.’
