Jon Stewart first appeared as a host on the American clip show ‘Short Attention Span Theater’ in 1990. He remained associated with the show until 1993. In 1992, he joined the MTV sketch comedy show ‘You Wrote It, You Watch It’ as a host. The show went off-air in 1993. Right after his exit from ‘You Wrote It, You Watch It,’ Stewart launched his late-night talk show ‘The Jon Stewart Show.’ The show ran for 24 episodes before it was canceled in 1995. He made his big-screen debut in the 1994 American Christmas dark comedy film ‘Mixed Nuts’ directed by Nora Ephron. The film was panned by critics and was a box office bomb. He was next seen in several television series and shows, such as ‘1995 Billboard Music Awards’ (1995), ‘The Nanny’ (1997), ‘Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist’ (1997), ‘Space Ghost Coast to Coast’ (1997), ‘Elmopalooza’ (1998), ‘Since You've Been Gone’ (1998), and ‘Spin City’ (1999).Â
In 1999, he joined the American late-night talk and satirical news television program ‘The Daily Show’ as a host. He hosted 2,579 episodes and remained a part of the show until 2015. Stewart also bagged several awards for his performance on the show, including 20 ‘Emmy Awards’ and 3 ‘Peabody Awards.’ In 2005, he came together with Stephen Colbert and Ben Karlin to create the late-night talk and news satire television program ‘The Colbert Report.’ The show ran for 11 seasons and aired its final episode in 2014. Steward also became a recipient of 2 ‘Emmy Awards’ and 7 ‘Producers Guild Awards’ for his performance on the show. He continued to appear in television series and shows like ‘American Dad!’ (2006), ‘Jack's Big Music Show’ (2007), ‘The Simpsons’ (2008), ‘The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear’ (2010), ‘Robot Chicken’ (2012), ‘Big Time Rush’ (2013), ‘Phineas and Ferb’ (2014), ‘The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore’ (2015-2016), ‘The Jim Gaffigan Show’ (2015), and ‘Gravity Falls’ (2015).Â
Apart from television shows, Stewart has also starred in films like ‘Wishful Thinking’ (1997), ‘Half Baked’ (1998), ‘The Faculty’ (1998), ‘Big Daddy’ (1999), ‘Committed’ (2000), ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’ (2001), ‘The Adventures of Tom Thumb and Thumbelina’ (2002), ‘Evan Almighty’ (2007), ‘The Great Buck Howard’ (2008), ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ (2011), and ‘Rosewater’ (2014). In 2021, he launched his late-night current affairs streaming television series ‘The Problem with Jon Stewart.’

Up-and-coming US Congressman David Norris discovers that human destiny is being controlled by supernatural agents of fate called the Adjustment Bureau. Against their plans, he meets a young Ballet dancer Elise and falls in love. David and Elise must escape being reset by the Bureau which will take all of their memories away.
Jay and Silent Bob discover that a movie adaptation of the comic, which is based on them, is being planned by Miramax Films. Furious at the negative feedback the movie is generating, the two decide to go to Hollywood to stop the film from being made or at least get a royalty. En route, they meet up with a hitchhiker, jewel thieves and are chased by a Wildlife Marshal.
After their friend gets arrested for killing a horse of the New York police, by feeding it junk food, three friends come up with a series of crazy schemes to bring him out of prison.
