Alicia Keys is an American musician, singer, songwriter and actress. She started her career with music, and eventually turned to acting with TV series’ in the 90s. One of the most talented artists, she designed her acting career thoughtfully, and made her film debut in late 2000s with the Ben Affleck starrer ‘Smokin’ Aces’, which turned out to be a commercial and critical success. She extended her filmography with her further roles in many films and TV series’.
Although she concentrated on her thriving musical career more, she took the opportunities to star in some interesting acting projects and became part of some notable films such as ‘Girl Rising’, ‘Let me In’ and ‘The Gospel’. Apart from her film acting projects, she did the duties of judge and mentor for several music talent shows such as ‘The Voice of Germany’, ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’, ‘The Voice’ and ‘The X Factor Australia’.
However, she has kept her acting projects to a minimum, as she had a fairly success musical career and her best career achievements are the hit albums such as ‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’, ‘Songs in a Minor’, ‘Here’ and ‘The Girl on Fire’.
