Both movies failed at the box office. Her next movie ‘Badlapur’ (2015) alongside Varun Dhawan emerged as a commercial success and gained her recognition. Her movies from 2016 to 2018 received mixed reviews till she appeared in the super hit action thriller war movie ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019), where she plays the role of a nurse – turned intelligence officer.
