A young man named Haider returns to Jammu and Kashmir, during a violent insurgency. He tries to investigate his father’s disappearance, but is overpowered by the politics of the state.  He also confronts his uncle, whom he suspects of playing a role in the fate of his father. 

A disillusioned business tycoon finds himself next to a larger-than-life woman on an overnight train. Their journey turns into a series of adventures when they miss their train in the wee hours. The duo discover each other's personalities as they hitchhike to their destination.

Udta Punjab is a black comedy film which revolves around drug abuse in the Indian state of Punjab. The film portrays how the youth have fallen victim to it,  which results in socio-economic decline.

Guddu and Charlie are identical twins, who also have a rivalry against each other. They both want to end their life of misery and lead a life of prosperity, but things don’t go as planned since they are forced into the corrupt Mumbai underworld.

Padmaavat is an epic historical war film set in medieval Rajasthan, which tells the story of Queen Padmavati, who is happily married to a Rajput King. However, when a Sultan hears about her beauty, he gets obsessed with her, and declares war on their kingdom.

Jeetu is debt-ridden as none of his businesses were successful. He breaks off his engagement and jumps into the sea, hoping that his father can use the insurance money from his death to clear off his debts. However, he is rescued by a fisherman named Gundya, and is mistaken to be mute and deaf. Since Gundya owes money to a businessman named Prabhat, he makes the latter believe that Jeetu is his beloved nephew, and he leaves Jeetu along with Prabhat, as a guarantee that he will return.

Poonam is an orphaned girl who is engaged to Prem, a boy from a wealthy family. Their love is tested when an accident occurs, and Poonam suffers burn injuries, just two days prior to the wedding.

Karan, a young man who has just graduated, is devastated when his mother has no option but to sell all her jewelry to fund his father’s hospital fees. He vows to fix the situation, and tries to come up with a plan to get rich quickly. He teams up with his friends to start an importing business.

Raj Malhotra is an architect who is having extreme bad luck in his life. He meets a social activist named Priya, who seems to be his lucky charm, as things go well for him whenever they meet. They soon both find themselves attracted to one another, but Priya is unaware of the fact that Raj is actually using her to obtain a contract that involves demolishing the community center that she is working for, in order to build a huge shopping mall.  

Romeo is a small-time thug who starts working for a drug lord named Shivraj. His life takes a turn when he falls for a girl named Chanda. However, things get ugly when he learns that Shivraj wants to marry Chanda against her will.

Mausam is a romantic drama film which tells the story of Harinder Singh, a happy-go-lucky guy from Punjab, and Aayat, a girl from Kashmir, who fall in love with one another. Despite their love for each other, they are forced to be apart from one another, due to communal riots, terrorist attacks, as well as a major war between India and Pakistan.

Dil to Pagal Hain is a musical romance film which tells the story of Rahul and Nisha, who are members of a musical troupe. Nisha is secretly in love with Rahul, though Rahul is unaware of this.  Things get complicated when Pooja enters the picture, and Rahul finds himself attracted to her, though she is engaged to another man.

Manav is the son of a wealthy NRI, who falls for Mansi, the daughter of a poor but respected music teacher. However, due to her social status, Mansi is insulted by Manav’s family, after which their relationship tears apart. Soon, Mansi meets a record producer named Vikrant Kapoor, who not only recognizes Mansi’s singing talent, but decides to help her climb the ladder of success. Things get complicated when Manav tries to return to her life, but now Vikrant has started to like her as well.
