Joshua ‘Josh’ Winslow Groban joined the legal-comedy drama-series ‘Ally McBeal’ (2001) in role of ‘Malcolm Wyatt’ and also performed a song. The popularity of ‘Wyatt’ resulted in Groban reprising the role in next season.
Groban performed songs for the soundtracks of ‘Troy,’ ‘The Polar Express’ (both 2004), and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (2017).

Groban co-hosted several episodes of ‘Live with Regis & Kelly’ during 2011-2014. He featured in single episodes of BBC-show ‘Room 101’ (2012), and ‘CSI: NY’ (2013). He was guest-anchor on ‘Canada AM.’
In independent comedy-film ‘Coffee Town’ (2013), Groban starred as one of the central characters, and was ‘prisoner with maximum security’ in musical crime-comedy film ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ (2014). He played ‘Rev. Dan’ in comedy drama-film ‘The Hollars’ (2016).
Groban appeared on various episodes of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ ‘The Crazy Ones,’ ‘Happyland,’ ‘Parks & Recreation,’ and ‘Crazy Ex-girlfriend.’ He was the host of the reality singing-competition show ‘Rising Star’ (2014).
Groban had a starring role as ‘NYPD Detective Tony Caruso Jr.’ in Netflix murder-mystery series ‘The Good Cop’ (2018).
