David Lemuel Keith first appeared in TV-series ‘Happy Days’ (1978). He made his feature-film debut in 1979’s drama-films ‘The Great Santini,’ and ‘The Rose.’ He had a supporting role in prison drama-film ‘Brubaker’ (1980), and appeared in 1979 TV-film ‘Friendly Fire’ and miniseries ‘Co-ed Fever.’
Keith’s role as ‘Sid Worley’ in romantic-drama film ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’ (1982) brought him recognition and ‘Golden Globe’ nomination.
