Cara Jocelyn Delevingne is a British supermodel who has successfully ventured into the field of acting. She rose to prominence after starring as June Moone / Enchantress in the top grossing blockbuster superhero film ‘Suicide Squad’ (2016).
Following a prolific career in the fashion industry, where she was conferred with the “Model of the Year” award at the 2012 British Fashion Awards, she made her acting debut as Princess Sorokina in the film adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s ‘Anna Karenina’. Although a small role, it nonetheless helped her demonstrate her acting skills and was instrumental in the development of her present filmography, which includes ‘The Face of an Angel’ (2014), ‘Paper Towns’ (2015), ‘Pan’ (2015), ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ (2017), and ‘Tulip Fever’ (2017).
Cara Delevingne has had her share of failures as well. Director Luc Besson’s ambitious space opera ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’, Joe Wright’s family fantasy ‘Pan’, and Michael Winterbottom’s psychological thriller ‘The Face of an Angel’ were box-office disasters, effectively making them Cara Delevingne’s worst films. By contrast, ‘Paper Town’s Margo Roth Spiegelman is generally considered her best role. ‘Suicide Squad’ is one of her best films despite being poorly received by the critics.
