Ayesha Takia is a former Indian film actress. She started her career as a model at age 15, appearing in popular commercials and music videos including I’m a Complan Girl!" and Falguni Pathak's "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye". She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Taarzan: The Wonder Car’ (2004) which was commercially unsuccessful.
In her career, Ayesha Takia has appeared in several flop films. Her movies that failed to impress the masses are 'Dil Maange More' (2004), 'Socha Na Tha' (2005), 'Shaadi No. 1' (2005), 'Home Delivery' (2005), 'Shaadi Se Pehle' (2006), 'Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota' (2006), 'Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love' (2007), 'Kya Love Story Hai' (2007), 'Fool & Final' (2007), 'Cash' (2007), 'Blood Brothers' (2007), 'No Smoking' (2007), 'Sunday' (2008), 'De Taali' (2008), '8 x 10 Tasveer' (2009) and 'Paathshaala' (2010). However, Takia has managed to garner appreciation for her performances in the movies 'Dor' (2006) and 'Wanted' (2009).
Wanted is an action thriller film which revolves around Radhe, a ruthless sharpshooter who can kill anyone for money. He soon starts having a relationship with Jhanvi, a middle class girl who doesn’t approve of the kind of work he does, and wants him to change.
