Aaron Stanford made his debut as ‘Sergei’ in the crime drama television series ‘Third Watch’ in 2001. Right after his exit from the show in 2002, Stanford made his big-screen debut in the romantic comedy ‘Tadpole’ directed by Gary Winick. The film opened to positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success. In 2003, he starred as ‘John Allerdyce / Pyro’ in the superhero film ‘X2’ directed by Bryan Singer. The film received a positive response from critics and was a major box office success. e next appeared in films like Winter ‘Solstice’ (2004), ‘Runaway’ (2005), ‘Standing Still’ (2005), and ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ (2006).
Stanford reprised his role as ‘John Allerdyce / Pyro’ in ‘X-Men: The Last Stand,’ the sequel to the 2003 film ‘X2.’ While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it was a major box office success, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of 2006. He returned to television in 2007 with the thriller drama television series ‘Traveler,’ where he played the role of ‘Will Traveler.’ The show was canceled after airing eight episodes.
