Aaron Stanford made his debut as ‘Sergei’ in the crime drama television series ‘Third Watch’ in 2001. Right after his exit from the show in 2002, Stanford made his big-screen debut in the romantic comedy ‘Tadpole’ directed by Gary Winick. The film opened to positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success. In 2003, he starred as ‘John Allerdyce / Pyro’ in the superhero film ‘X2’ directed by Bryan Singer. The film received a positive response from critics and was a major box office success. e next appeared in films like Winter ‘Solstice’ (2004), ‘Runaway’ (2005), ‘Standing Still’ (2005), and ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ (2006).

He returned to television in 2007 with the thriller drama television series ‘Traveler,’ where he played the role of ‘Will Traveler.’ The show was canceled after airing eight episodes. He went on to appear in television series like ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ (2009), ‘Mad Men’ (2009), and ‘Fear Itself’ (2009), before joining the main cast of the action thriller drama series ‘Nikita’ in 2010. The show aired its final episode in 2013. In 2015, he starred as ‘James Cole’ in the science fiction mystery-drama series ‘12 Monkeys.’ The show aired 47 episodes and ran for 3 years from January 16, 2015, to July 6, 2018.
