Distinguished for her performance in the ABC sitcom, ‘Roseanne as Darlene Conner,’ Sara Gilbert decided to enter the showbiz at the age of six when she saw Melissa Gilbert getting a star on the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame.’ In 1984, she did a series of commercials and also appeared in ‘Calamity Jane,’ a CBS TV movie. In 1988, she shot to fame with ‘Roseanne.’ She also received the ‘Primetime Emmy Award’ nomination twice for the same. The role was reprised by her for a nine-episode revival in 2018. She will also be seen in ‘The Conners,’ which is a spin-off series.
She has also done recurring role on CBS’ ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ where she portrayed the role of Leslie Winkle. She is also the creator and co-host of ‘The Talk,’ a CBS daytime talk show.
