Lena Kathren Headey, is an English actress, who is known for her portrayal of Cersei Lannister, in the popular fantasy drama series `Game of Thrones`, which has earned her four Emmy nominations, as well as a Golden Globe nomination.
She made her film debut with the 1992 film `Waterland`, and over the years, she eventually rose to fame with her remarkable performances in films such as `The Jungle Book`, `Ripley`s Game`, and `300`. Her best and critically acclaimed films are `The Remains of the Day`, (1993), `The Jungle Book` (1994) and `Ripley`s Game` (2002), while her best and acclaimed TV shows are `Game of Thrones`, and `Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia`.
Her most commercially successful films are `300`, (2007), `The Purge` (2013) and `300: Rise of an Empire (2014)`. Headley has also seen failure. Her worst movies include `Onegin`, (1999) which was a commercial disaster, `The Cave`, (2005) which was a huge disappointment for critics, and `Pride and Prejudice and Zombies` (2016).
