Frank Welker is an American voice artist and actor. His first voice role was in the television series 'Scooby-Doo, Where Are You' (1969-70). This was followed by his roles in numerous other TV series including 'Super Friends' (1973), 'Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch' (1974), 'Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels' (1977-80), 'The New Fantastic Four' (1978), 'Super Friends' (1980-83), 'The Smurfs' (1981-89), 'Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends' (1981-83),'Inspector Gadget' (1983-85), 'Muppet Babies' (1984-91), 'The Transformers' (1984-87), 'Bionic Six' (1987), 'DuckTales' (1987-90), 'Garfield and Friends' (1988-94), '101 Dalmatians: The Series' (1997-98), 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' (2006-14) and 'Curious George' (2006-15).
Besides television series, the actor has also lent his voice to several films, television films and video games. His first on-camera film appearance was in ‘The Trouble with Girls’ (1969). He later appeared in the movies 'The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes' (1969), 'How to Frame a Figg' (1971) and 'Dirty Little Billy' (1972).
Frank Welker has also gained recognition for his contribution to several feature films of Transformers franchise including 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' (2009), 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' (2011) and 'Transformers: The Last Knight' (2017).
Aladdin, a poor but kind-hearted street urchin, is hired by Jafar, the Royal Vizier, to retrieve a magical lamp from a mysterious cave. After being betrayed, he uses the genie inside the lamp to escape the cave and to become a prince so he could woo Princess Jasmine, but soon gets dragged into an evil plot by Jafar.
