Tyler Blackburn made his screen debut in the American teen sitcom ‘Unfabulous’ in 2006. He starred as ‘Nathan’ and appeared in 2 episodes of the show. He went on to make his film debut in the 2008 Martha M. Elcan-directed romance drama ‘Next of Kin’ where he played the role of a French student. After making a brief appearance in the American police procedural crime drama television series ‘Cold Case’ (2009), Blackburn joined the cast of the American teen drama mystery-thriller television series ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ He played the role of ‘Caleb Rivers’ which earned him 3 ‘Teen Choice Awards.’ The series ran for 7 seasons and aired its final episode in 2017. He went on to reprise his role of ‘Caleb Rivers’ in the American supernatural teen drama mystery-thriller television series ‘Ravenswood’ in 2013. The series was canceled after one season in 2014 due to low ratings. Blackburn portrayed ‘Ryan Morris’ in the 2016 American drama film ‘Love Is All You Need?’ directed by K. Rocco Shields. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and scored a 75% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In 2019, he grabbed the role of ‘Alex Manes’ in the American science fiction drama television series ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ developed by Carina Adly MacKenzie. The series completed its third season in October 2021 and was renewed for a fourth season in 2022. Blackburn also appeared in the 2019 American biographical natural horror-survival film ‘Capsized: Blood in the Water’ directed by Stephen David. The film received a positive response from critics.
