Taika Waititi, also known as Taika Cohen, is a comedian, actor, and filmmaker from New Zealand. He is best known for directing films such as ‘Two Cars, One Night’ (2004), ‘Boy’ (2010), ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ (2014) ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ (2016), and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ (2017). He started his film career as a part of a five –member troupe ‘So You’re a Man.’ He made his screen debut as an actor in the 1999 New Zealand film ‘Scarfies.’ He also made appearances in the films such as ‘Futile Attraction’ (2004), ‘Boy’ (2010), ‘Green Lantern’ (2011), and ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ (2016). He played ‘Korg’ in the ‘Marvel’ films ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ (2017), and ‘Avengers: End Game’ (2019), which he also directed or co-created. He will next be seen in films ‘Jojo Rabbit’ (2019) and ‘Free Guy’ (2020). He has also appeared in a lot of TV shows such as ‘Freaky’ (2003), and ‘Radiradirah’ (2010).
