Nina Dobrev is a Bulgarian-Canadian actress who rose to fame for portraying the role of Mia Jones in the drama series 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' (2006-09). However, her best role so far came in the American supernatural drama series 'The Vampire Diaries' (2009-17), in which she played the lead character, Elena Gilbert, for the first six seasons and returned as a guest star in season 8.
