Maite Perroni was first seen playing the role of Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández in the Mexican telenovela ‘Rebelde’ in 2004. After the show went off-air in 2006, Perroni joined the main cast of the Mexican sitcom ‘RBD: La familia’ in 2007. That same year, she made a guest appearance in the melodrama telenovela ‘Lola, érase una vez.’ In 2008, Perroni appeared in a lead role in ‘Cuidado con el ángel.’ Her performance as ‘María de Jesus "Marichuy" Velarde’ in the telenovela earned her the ‘TVyNovelas Award’ for ‘Best Young Lead Actress.’
After appearing in telenovelas like ‘Mi pecado’ (2009), ‘Mujeres asesinas’ (2010), and ‘Triunfo del amor’ (2010-2011), Perroni made her film debut in the 2012 Mexican drama ‘El arribo de Conrado Sierra’ directed by René Pereyra. She was next seen in the fantasy film ‘El Origen de los Guardianes’ (2015), in which she voiced the character ‘Maite Terranova.’ In 2016, Perroni joined the cast of the Mexican telenovela ‘Antes muerta que Lichita’ as ‘Alicia "Lichita" Gutiérrez’ for which she won the ‘TVyNovelas Award’ for ‘Best Lead Actress.’ The show went off-air in 2016.
In 2017, she grabbed the role of ‘Renée Sánchez Moreno’ in the comedy telenovela ‘Papá a toda madre’ for which she again bagged the ‘TVyNovelas Award’ for ‘Best Lead Actress.’ She is currently a part of the 2020 Mexican comedy-drama web television series ‘Herederos por accidente.’ Perroni also appears in the Mexican thriller drama streaming television series ‘Dark Desire.’ She is all set to appear in the upcoming drama film ‘Sin ti no puedo.’
