Nightcrawler is an adrenaline-charged thriller that revolves around a small-time robber who turns into a photographer of grisly crimes. Armed with a camcorder and a police scanner, a petty thief scours the streets of Los Angeles at night in search of increasingly gruesome crimes that he sells to a desperate morning news director of a television channel.

This biographical drama depicts how American pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger safely landed Flight 1549 on the Hudson River after it was hit by a flock of birds, disabling both engines. Just as he is hailed as a hero by common people and the media, he faces a career-threatening investigation into claims that the accident was a pilot error.

When she starts suffering from mysterious wounds, Father Andrew Kiernan, a former scientist, is asked to investigate. What he finds out may have serious consequences for the church.
