Walt Disney is synonymous with animation industry. He has been the man behind development and production of cartoons. Walt holds the feat of being the first individual for having 59 Oscar nominations and winning 22 of them. In 1928 he developed his first most successful character ‘Mickey Mouse.’ In early years he also voiced his characters. Technical developments in cameras, synchronized sounds and feature-length cartoons were introduced by Disney.
A cartoon series titled ‘Silly Symphonies’ were created by him in 1929. The first coloured cartoon by Disney that became the first cartoon to win an Academy Award was ‘Flowers and Trees.’ Some of his other successful features, animated and live-action films include ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Bambi,’ ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs,’ ‘The Jungle Book,’ ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ ‘Mary Poppins,’ ‘Pinocchio,’ ‘Dumbo,’ ‘Fantasia,’ and many more. Disney ventured into the amusement park industry and opened ‘Disneyland’ in 1955.

Mickey Mouse gets into bed after his nighttime prayers and soon falls asleep. He dreams about proposing to Minnie Mouse. One day, after they're happily married, Mickey is in the garden with Pluto when a stork sends a bunch of baby mice down their chimney. But the stork never stops.
When the firehouse alarm bell rings, Mickey and his team of fire-fighters rush towards a burning apartment building. As the nearby hydrant is not properly functioning, Horace Horsecollar puts out the fire with drinks of water from a pond. Climbing on a neighboring building, Mickey uses clothesline to cross to where Minnie is trapped on the upper floor and saves her heroically.
Goliath I, the biggest elephant of the jungle, is unhappy with Goliath II, his 8-year-old miniature son. But Goliath’s loving mother protects him, especially from Raja, the tiger. Once Goliath runs away, lands in trouble, and receives spanking after being rescued by mother. When the herd encounters a mouse, all elephants panic, but Goliath bravely defeats the mouse, earning his father’s respect.

Mickey and friends are having fun on the beach. Clarabelle loses her swimsuit in which Mickey gets entangled, receiving good whacking from Clarabelle. Pluto first chases a crab, then accidently drags a displeased octopus ashore while retrieving string of sausages tossed by Mickey. The menacing octopus disrupts the party, but Mickey gets rid of it by lassoing it with rope and anchor.
The Mad Dog is an animated comedy short film which revolves around Mickey Mouse as he tries to give a bath to Pluto Dog. Pluto tries to run away, and is mistaken for a rabid dog, and eventually a dogcatcher tries to shoot him down.
Pluto rescues a litter of kittens from river, but as Mickey and Minnie pamper them and blame Pluto for their mischief, Pluto’s devil-self starts popping its head, prodding him to chase the kittens out. When dejected Pluto walks out, the kittens follow and fall in the well. Pluto’s angel-self wins over as he again rescues them, regaining his place in Mickey’s heart.
The Fox Hunt is an animated short comedy film, revolving around fox-hunters Goofy and Donald Duck, as they have to deal with unruly hounds and a timid horse.
Mickey’s friends throw a surprise birthday party for Mickey who receives a gift of music player. While everyone keeps Mickey busy with music and dance, Goofy tries to bake a cake. Even after several attempts when he can’t get it right, Goofy gets a cake from bakery. As everyone sings birthday song, Goofy trips, accidently throwing cake on Mickey, who just laughs.
Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck take a few mouse boys on a picnic. However, the boys take a liking to torment Donald, in several ways, like giving him with a sandwich with a bee inside it.
Mickey’s Amateurs is an animated short comedy film, which revolves around a radio show hosted by Mickey Mouse, where Donald Duck, Clara Cluck and Goofy are participants.
Mickey is woken by Minnie’s call when he forgets his date and oversleeps. With Pluto’s help Mickey hastily gets dressed, but forgets the tickets; so Pluto rushes after him. As Mickey tries to retrieve his hat that is fallen in garbage can, Pluto accidently knocks the trash, spoiling Mickey’s tuxedo. However, Minnie finds it appropriate, as the party theme is ‘hard times.’
Bongo is an animated comedy short film, which tells the story of a performing bear, who escapes from the circus, and tries to adapt to life in the wild.

Fishin’ Around is an animated short comedy film which revolves around Mickey Mouse as he takes Pluto Dog for fishing in a boat, to a nearby lake. However, they aren’t very successful. The fish start to mock them, and even steal their bait can. Eventually, Mickey finds himself in trouble as he had ignored the ‘No Fishing’ sign.

A sudden thunderstorm abruptly ends their picnic and as they drive home, Rover’s tail serves as wiper.
Mickey’s Mellerdrammer is an animated short film in which Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and few others present their own version of the 19th century play ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’, in a barn which they have turned into a theater for this occasion.

So the ‘Jungle Star’ throws a lavish party when adventurer Baron Munchausen arrives in town with his lions. Alice Gets Stung
While Julius is milking his cow, Alice gets kidnapped by Pete. Julius decides to give chase, but he has to win a duel against Pete, in order to win Alice back.
Alice wants to go out and have fun with her friends, but her mother wants her to practice the piano. Therefore, she tricks her mother into thinking that she is still playing by getting her dog to play it instead, while she goes out fishing with her friends.
Alice and her cat are driving along the coast, when they ride off a cliff accidentally and into the ocean. They manage to trick a fish into towing them, but things get worse when they meet a storm , and are swept away to Cannibal islands. Soon, they are pursued aggressively by the locals.
This animated short comedy film revolves around Pete the Bear, who plans to rob a train, along with his gang.
Alice and the Three Bears is an animated comedy short film which tells the story of a young girl Alice and her cat who stumble upon the house of the Three Bears. Baby Bear gets into a fight with the cat, and after the latter is defeated, Baby Bear runs off with Alice. However, the cat soon revives and calls in reinforcements i.e. his nine lives, in order to rescue Alice.
