Uee made her acting debut in the 2009 South Korean historical drama television series ‘Queen Seondeok,’ created by Lee Chang-seop. The show aired a total of 63 episodes. That same year, she also made an appearance in the South Korean television series ‘You're Beautiful,’ directed by Hong Sung-chang. She continued to appear in television series like ‘My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox’ (2010), ‘All My Love’ (2011), and ‘Birdie Buddy’ (2011).
In 2011, she joined the main cast of the South Korean television series ‘Ojakgyo Family,’ directed by Ki Min-soo. She played the role of ‘Baek Ja-eun’ which earned her the ‘KBS Drama Award’ and ‘Baeksang Arts Award.’ The show aired its final episode in 2012. That same year, she also starred as ‘Lee Se-jin’ in the South Korean television series ‘Night Light,’ directed by Lee Jae-dong. The show aired 20 episodes before going off-air in 2017. She was next seen in television series such as Manhole’ (2017), ‘My Contracted Husband, Mr. Oh’ (2018), ‘My Only One’ (2018), and ‘SF8’ (2020). She was last seen in the 2022 South Korean television series ‘Ghost Doctor,’ directed by Boo Seong-cheol.
