Sammo Hung is an actor, producer, martial art and film director from Hong Kong. He is best known as a fight choreographer for top Chinese actors, including Jackie Chan, as well as his martial art work in Hong Kong cinema. He made his screen debut as a child actor in the 1961 film ‘Education of Love.’ Some of his hit films are ‘The Bells of Death’ (1968), ‘The Angry River’ (1971), ‘The Himalayan’ (1972), ‘The Victim’ (1980), ‘Project A’ (1983), ‘Blade of Fury’ (1993), ‘Once Upon a Time in Shanghai’ (2014), and ‘God of War’ (2017). His unsuccessful films include ‘The Mandarin Magician’ (1974), ‘The Kung Fu Stars’ (1978), ‘Astonishing’ (2004), ‘Naked Soldier’ (2012), and ‘A Lifetime Treasure’ (2019). He made his TV debut in ‘Facial Reaction,’ in 1986. He has also been a part of TV series, such as ‘Martial Law’ (1998), ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ (2000), and ‘The Shaolin Warriors’ (2008).
