Matthew Mercer, also known as Matt Mercer, is an American voice actor, popular for voicing numerous video games and cartoon series. He started lending voice to various characters from 2004, when he made his debut in the video game ‘Scaler.’ With time, he voiced various characters in popular video games, such as ‘Wolfenstein’(2009), ‘Mortal Kombat’ (2011), ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ (2013), ‘Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle’ (2014), ‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’ (2018), and ‘Lego DC Super-Villains’ (2018). His voice was part of many animation shows, such as ‘Thunder Cats’ (2011-12), ‘Marvel's Spider-Man’ (2017) and ‘Voltron: Legendary Defender’ (2018). He has also voiced over 20 popular anime shows, including ‘Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic’ (2014) and ‘Dragon Ball Super’ (2017-19). He currently voices the characters of ‘Levi Ackerman’ in ‘Attack of the Titan’ (2-14-present) and ‘Jotaro Kujo’ in ‘JoJo's Bizarre Adventure’ (2017-present). He also plays the ‘Dungeon Master’ in his own web series ‘Critical Role’ (2015-present).
This prequel to Monsters, Inc. looks back at a time when legendary scarers Mike and Sully were learning scare tactics at Monsters University as students. A bitter rivalry starts between the two when Sully, an overconfident natural-born scarer, tells the rather cute-looking one-eyed monster Mike that he cannot be a scarer no matter how hard he studies.
