Henry Quaid first appeared in the dystopian action-film ‘The Huger Games’ (2012) in a negative role as ‘Marvel,’ and reprised the same as a cameo in the second installment, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ (2013). He made his TV debut in an episode of the series ‘Mrs.’ (2013).
Quaid further appeared in the drama-film ‘Just 45 Minutes from Broadway’ (2012), the black comedy ‘Just Before I Go’ (2014), and the drama-film ‘Ithaca’ (2015). He was a part of the TV-series ‘Sasquatch Sketch Comedy’ (2014-2015).
Quaid appeared in the main role in the period-drama series ‘Vinyl’ (2016), followed by a role in the heist-comedy ‘Logan Lucky’ (2017). That same year he starred in the comedy-horror film ‘Tragedy Girls’ (2017). Next, he appeared in the sci-fi monster-film ‘Rampage’ (2018).
Quaid’s breakthrough was the role as one of the CIA-sponsored vigilantes, ‘Hugh ‘Hughie’ Campbell,’ in the Amazon’s streaming series ‘The Boys’ (2019-present) which earned him ‘MTV Award’ nomination for ‘Best Actor.’
Quaid further starred as ‘Ben King’ in the romantic-comedy ‘Plus One’ (2019). He provided voice for ‘Batman: The Long Halloween, Part I & II’ (2021), also played the voice-role as ‘Richie Rich’ in the animated-series ‘Harvey Girls Forever’ (2019-2020), and the main voice-role in ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ (2020-present,) which fetched ‘Critics Choice Award for Best Voice Actor in Animated Series’ nomination.
