Based on Nicholas Pileggi’s book Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas, the movie follows the rise of mobster Sam “Ace” Rothstein after he takes charge of Las Vegas’ Tangiers Casino. Complicated personal relationships, corrupt politicians and the ever-changing Las Vegas eventually leads to his fall.
