The movie is a fictionalised account of the rivalry between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri. Salieri, the royal composer at the court of Austrian emperor Joseph II, is frustrated that God has bestowed an annoying man like Mozart with such supreme musical talent. Enraged, he plots to derail Mozart’s career and eventually causes his downfall.

Gabe is a ten year old boy living in a Manhattan who develops feelings for the first time for an eleven year old girl named Rosemary. Since he is also dealing with the divorce process of his parents, he is confused regarding his feelings.

James White is a young man living with his terminally ill mother. After his father passes away, he attends his funeral. He soon decides to accompany his friend Nick to Mexico. There, he meets a young girl named Jayne, who is also into partying and alcohol. Things get complicated when he learns that his mother is in need of urgent medical treatment.  

Defiant and sardonic 17-year-old Jason ‘Igby’ Slocumb Jr. doesn’t leave any opportunity to rebel against his severe, moneyed East Coast family. Feeling stifled by the expectations of the wealthy family that comprised of a schizophrenic and institutionalized father; a self-centered, detached mother; and a young Republican for an older brother, Igby tries to break away in search of a better world out there.
