Ashley Olsen is an American actress and fashion designer. She began her career alongside her twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen when they were only nine months old. They were cast to play the shared role of Michelle Tanner, on the TV series ‘Full House’ (1987–1995).Â
She was seen in a number of TV movies like ‘To Grandmother's House We Go’ (1992), ‘Double, Double Toil and Trouble’ (1993), and ‘How the West Was Fun’ (1994), as a child star. Once ‘Full House’ ended in 1995, Ashley Olsen became a teen star acting in successful straight-to-video movies like ‘It Takes Two’ (1995), ‘Billboard Dad’ (1998), and ‘Passport to Paris’ (1999).She also starred on the TV shows, ‘Two of a Kind’ (1998–1999), ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ (1999), ‘7th Heaven’ (2000), ‘So Little Time’ (2001–2002), and ‘Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!’ (2001–2002).Â
While ‘Full House’ remains her best-known role till date, she also acted in some of the worst movies of her career in ‘Getting There’ (2002), ‘When in Rome’ (2002), and ‘New York Minute’ (2004).
