Darrell Hammond is best known as a regular cast member on ‘Saturday Night Live’ television show between 1995 and 2009. He is remembered for impersonating celebrities like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, John Travolta, and Sean Connery.
He has made guest appearances on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ and the crime drama series ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. He presented his own stand-up comedy ‘Comedy Central Presents Darrell Hammond’ and made his Broadway debut in 2007 as Vice Principle Douglas Panch in the musical comedy ‘The Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’.
He has appeared in several commercials, including the Oreo commercial with Donald Trump. He has also played the role of Colonel Sanders in an advertisement for KFC.
His highest rated performance on the big screen came in the film ‘Ira and Abby.’ A few of his movies like ‘Celtic Pride’ (1996), ‘Kiss Me Again’ (2006), and ‘Epic Movie’ (2007) did not do well at the box office.
